Emmys on NBC Hosted By Seth Meyers – Ballot

NY Late Night Host Seth Meyers brings a New York style to the Prime Time Emmys.  There will be no singing or dancing just his fresh, funny monologue style Weekend Update  style.

HBO has the most Emmy Nominations with 99.  This is the first year Netflix is in the Emmys with 31 nominations.  They are technically a streaming channel.  Netflix had to make a deal with Time Warner to give them better bandwidth so their shows wouldn’t be buffering.  Do you think Amazon could be in next year since they are creating series?  How far will it go?

Will Netflix steal some Emmy Awards away from the Networks?  Kevin Spacey is amazing  as a devious South Carolina politician in House of Cards.

What about Orange is the New Black?  I really do not consider it a comedy.  Will it be competing with HBO’s Veep?  House of Cards is too racy for a comedy.  What about binge-watching by Netflix releasing an entire season at once?   Isn’t it more exciting when you have to wait a week for the next episode?
