This weekend while everyone was thinking of fireworks and barbecued burgers I was dreaming of Apple TV.  I was up all night hooking up

my Apple TV to my Macbook air.  I bought my it from Bestbuy.com.    I went to Apple first, but they were out of HDMI cables.

It’s great to stream Netflix and rent and play the latest iTunes videos, but I really wanted to do mirroring from my  13″ Macbook Air to my

***Your Macbook has to be from the past year and Apple TV needs to be 3rd generation.  You need the HDMI cable, internet

broadband and you can set it up.

Suddenly I could watch everything I was doing on my Macbook on my big TV Screen.  What a delight.  I would recommend this to any

Mac fans.  Why watch YouTube videos, browse Ebay and write e-mails on a tiny screen when you can do it on a giant one?  One catch.

Find a permanent spot for your small Apple remote so you don’t lose it.

Also you can play from your iPhone and iPad on your TV as well.  Just make sure they are all hooked up to your wi-fi and your password

is added.
