Update:
31 Year Old, Glee Star Cory Monteith, who played Finn Hudson died from an overdose of heroin and alcohol
was what the autopsy showed. Lea was able to keep Cory under control when in the US, but when he went home
to his native Canada, he partied with his old buddies like he did in high school.
He was found dead in his room on Saturday by shocked Fairmont Pacific Rim. The hotel staff after he missed his checkout time. I had met Lea Michele and Cory Monteith at a Fox upfront introducing their new shows.
They were all so funny. Glee was supposed to shoot again in August, but for now
it is on hold.
Monteith had checked himself into rehab a few months ago, but there is no knowledge that it’s been linked to his
addiction. Girlfriend, Lea Michele is grief stricken and inconsolable. They were to be married in two weeks
Now instead of attending a wedding; Cory’s family and friends will be attending a funeral.
Other cast mates are devastated and share their feelings on Twitter.
Happier Moments “Don’t Stop Believing” from Glee Pilot
I had an actor friend of mine, Keith Burns die on New Year’s eve a few years ago from an overdose.
I had even wrote and produced a play about his drinking to try to warn him of what could result from his behavior.
Keith saw the play, The Mind is a Stranger. In the play the actor’s conscience comes out in the form of a
beautiful woman, who he doesn’t know. She convinces him to change his addictive behavior and there is
a happy ending. There are no happy endings in Cory and Lea’s life. So devastating.
So sad. Rest in Peace, Cory.
